Why Donate?

By supporting the school, you will help build a vibrant community of students who experience the joy of learning and grow together in virtue and holiness.

However, as with most good things, it takes significant money to sustain a school like this.

We receive no operational funding from the state or from the Catholic Church. This school is completely supported by parents and donors who believe in its mission.

Our Model

Chesterton Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which means all donations are tax deductible.

We aim to keep tuition low to allow working class families to attend. Tuition is $9,500 per student, less than half the cost of other nearby schools.

But that means we must raise considerable funds to meet our operating budget since it costs us roughly $14,000 per year to educate each student.

Our Need

We are committed to raising 100% of the "tuition gap" (the difference between our annual budget and the revenue we receive from tuition) before the first day of each school year. This provides a secure financial position and ensures the school avoids any cash flow issues during the school year.

The "tuition gap" for the 2025-2026 school year is $375,000. This will help cover the faculty and staff salaries, new furniture and supplies, and other operating expenses.

That's a considerable amount, indeed too much for any one person to give. But we're confident there are enough generous people who believe in the importance of a school like this, who want to invest in something that produces real, lasting, tangible results, namely young people who know Christ, love the Church, and radiate the genius and beauty of our tradition.

At a time when so many young people are leaving the Church, supporters like you can help reverse that trend, keeping more of our children faithfully in the Church.

Our Stability

We have completed a detailed five-year financial plan to project revenues, expenses, personnel, and fundraising needs over the next several years (available upon request).

We are confident in our financial stability, which will only become more solid each year as enrollment grows.
